Gzl, could you turn off Flood Control? it gets very annoying in threads like the Post Count boosting threads and the Word Assiciation thread.

It also mens you can't post to two forums simultaniously, which can be a real timesaver when you open more than one window.

[edit - to be more attention grabbing...]

The POINT of it is to stop you increasing your post count randomly!

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

Remember all the threads posted eight times et al? Flood control was off then. That was fun wasn't it?

It has to stay on to a degree. The time between posts has already been decreased.

And I'm sure you'll get Gorgs favour by asking for it to be removed so as to help you out in post boosting threads... serious or not

It can't be turned off entirely for technical reasons (you end up getting dozens and dozens of ten duplicate posts and such). I might consider lowering it from 60 seconds to 30 seconds at some point, but I'll have to see whether that might create some other issues.

In UBB, for every action there's always an equal and opposite reaction...

<edit>

Also, turning it off for Word Association and post count boosting is not really a high priority, for obvious reasons.

Moving this to the Suggestions/Comments forum.
