Is there a way to have my desktop icons (mac HD, external drives, etc) appear on my secondary monitor (not the monitor i have the menubar appear on)?

That's a good question, I'm not sure if it's possible. Could you describe your setup?

Sure. Right now I have a Dell 2007WFP monitor that is right infront of me, and my powerbook g4 15" to my right. I would like the icons to be on the powerbook monitor, but still keep the menubar and dock on the dell. Does that make sense?

That's easy. Just drag them to where you want them.

It wasn't working and then I realized I had the sort by name option checked.

This will work fine though. Thanks!

I didn't think about that option. I'm glad you sorted it out.

I think they'll scurry back to the default location after a restart though.

Hmm. You're right. Anyway to change the default location?
