I'm proud to announce a new Web site dedicated to the classic Mac OS. "Long Live Classic!" features software reviews and tips and tricks to keep users of OS 9.x and under productive and happy.

Please let me know what you think of the site and if you have any suggestions.

Nice. I appreciated your tip on taming the installation of Navigator. I'll soon install 4.77 and always hated all that other junk that was strewn around. Never stopped to _think_ that there might be a better way!

Cool! I like it! I'll be using Mac OS 9.1 for a long time, so it's good to see a site that is devoted to the great functioning Mac OS. OS X has promise but I personally like a mature, complete OS on my Powermac. Nice try Apple, better luck next time...

Thanks. I'm glad you guys like it. I don't mean to diss OS X, it's just that I'm super-productive in OS 9 and see no reason to change my habits. I thought I'd share my knowledge and help promote all the great ways to trick out the classic Mac OS.

Does anyone know what happened to www.macosrumors.com? They seem to have dropped off the air, despite their being one of the best (i.e. most accurate) Macintosh rumor sites...perhaps Apple clamped down hard on stolen information???

I too support 9.1 and will more than likely never be switching over. I'm glad to see there are other people out there that are not brain-washed by X.
