Pick up the phone and call your nearest store. I kind of doubt it though.

Wrong. You can always speak to someone in a store. Don't be lazy.

189 people have viewed this thread, if they had an answer for you I guess they'd have posted. Bumping it repeatedly isn't going to make you new friends.

I have called my local Apple Store and spoke to a person, had them reserve it for me, and actually saw the person later that day when I went to pick up my new Apple product, You should be able to do the same.....?????!!!!!! [=)

look on the apple site, search for your store, dial the number listed there, listen to the prompts and you can talk to someone at the store directly. I did to verify they had iLife 06 when it came out.

At the three Apple stores I've talked to on the phone, after the prompts start, hit 5 and it will go to someone in the store.

Yes, you can talk to a real person at the Apple store. The secret is to hit 5 at the prompt "for all other questions..." All other options are routed elsewhere.

Saw a posting where a 2.16 model with 7200 rpm HD was in stock (around the MIT area in Boston).

So -- call before you go!
