I'm having lots of random lock ups. I just did a clean install about a month ago. I just did the software update 2 days ago. I've been watching the activity monitor and sometimes its the finder, sometimes its firefox that turn up in red as not responding.

I don't know where to start trouble shooting this one. Lock ups happen at random times and places. Sometimes when I'm trying to load pages in firefox, others when I'm working in things like Pages & Numbers. Anyone else have lock ups lately?
Backups are like guns and condoms. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

If you have lock ups even after you have re-installed everything it could be bad RAM or disk.

I swapped out the RAM this morning and Im working with Numbers today and its still locking up. So thus far I've swapped out HDD/ RAM and done a clean load. I think I might try once more with a fresh load. I'm going to try a new account to see if that helps. Any other ideas?
