As was
speculated on Monday due to a leak on Reddit, Xbox One's June update will include external storage support. According to Microsoft's
Major Nelson, the Xbox One system will soon support up to two external hard drives (with 256GB of space or more) simultaneously, to be used to increase game storage capacity.
Also anticipated in the update is a new "real names" feature, which gives the option to display one's own real name as opposed to a gaming handle; users will more readily distinguish other gamers they know with the use of real names. Other added features include OneGuide and Universal Remote Control to Xbox One's Smartglass app, new Gold membership benefits, and more. Those interested in previewing the system updates will be able to in the near future.
