Hi,

Is there a thesaurus for the service menu available? If the answers is no, who is going to program it?

Greetings
Vax

Check out Okito Thesaurus. It's not bad.

edit: Huh, scratch that. It looks like it's no longer available, now that Nissus bought out Okito. How crummy.

So, there is no global thesaurus available for Mac OS X? How bad, is there a free thesaurus database out there?
Maybe I can program something....

By the way, does anybody know when Nisus is going to release anything?
It seems awfully long for them to get out with an OS X version.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Dictionary.com has a Thesaurus button. Don't know how good it is though.
hummm A service that uses an online resorce. Good for people with broardband (no huge database taking up disk space), totaly useless for everyone else.

Try this:

http://www.crazy-wormhole.com/downlo...us-0.11.dmg.gz

Jared Davis' thesaurus, aquafied; ported by Francis James Franklin

I dug it up after a little Googling, but I can't find anything that might shed some light on updates for the Mac OS X version.

"Psssst..."

I have a copy of this that still works fine. Wonder why it's not available?

It's not so much a thesaurus button but rather just another section of their network. There is thesaurus.com too.
