That kid is good. There were a couple Nike commercials where they had people doing essentially the same thing. I believe that there is a name for it, and it has become somewhat of a sport.

One this is for sure though, no cops are going to be catching that kid. He should become a criminal.

Currently, the playback feature of Google Video isn't available in your country.

We hope to make this feature available more widely in the future, and we really appreciate your patience."

Anyone know of any player that can play FLV video better than Wimpy FLV Player? It plays smoothly in the browser of Google Video, but I would hate to download that 25MB+ file everytime I want to show it to someone. In Wimpy it plays like Doom 3 on a GeForce 2MX. (iMac 2Ghz)

The russian kid is good.

Google has lots of parkour stuff, including stuff from David Belle who pretty much started the phenomena.

They're hopping around like mad here, too - let's see if the snow (if it arrives) will stop them

When I click that link from ambush I got this:

That gets some mad respect from me. I used to do that kind of crap in the woods when I was a kid, but nothing as crazy as that.

Wow, nice job. Though the quality would have been better if done in QuickTime.

Thanks for those links. great.

Yamakasi, a 2001 film

a discipline, a way of life, good condition is needed, to be able to catch oneself if one fails the landing,
A film of Jean-Luc Besson came out about this phenomena, « l’art du déplacement », (in the context where they had to save a child) the art of moving around, came out in 2001 had and still has a lot of success , you can find video on the net. A few extracts of second link are about some of the 7 guys who played in the film and who can now live on their art/sport

"Yamakasi"

« Les samouraï des temps modernes. » , « banlieusards » spread this way of moving around, they have schools and teach sometimes very young children how to move around, jumping from rock to rock, walking on walls, flying over stairs....
4 stories building in 15 seconds!

cars burn, mais les cités are not only about burning cars

Did you miss the memo about how Russians are world-famous for pumping out dozens of Olympic gymnasts a year? They're kinda well-known for it.

Is this a database error or an administrator's joke account?

Cuz this guy really only has one post. And I doubt he registered in 1969.
