9.1 International English has killed my Wallstreet 250 GV Internal modem.

It was there this afternoon, and now it's not!

Does not show up in System Profiler and the modem control panel cannot use it either.

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem, but you can make a new script for your computer with thi tool. (Modem Script Generator.)
http://homepage.mac.com/af_/dogbert.html

the other option is use the original modem script and shut down you computer for 30secs
