Does anyone have any experience with these batteries? It would be nice to get a higher capacity for the same amount of money, but buying third party kind of worries me.

Do they fit well? Do they take as long to go bad as Apple batteries? Do they really last longer?

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

It seems like they just put new higher-capacity cells into iBooks. It seems like a sound idea to me. They also have a 1 year warranty. I would check to see just what exactly the warranty covers and to see if it is any good, but it looks good to me.

It's also a pretty reputable company. Newer Tech also makes a lot of Upgrade cards for older Macs.

Call me a skeptic, but I would be in fact a little skeptical...

"up to 50% higher capacity vs original"...the original battery they are comparing their replacement to is the 3300 mAh unit that came with the older dual USB G3 iBooks. You meet the 50% capacity boost for the G4 iBook with the original 4400 mAh battery, then you're talking!

Well if you can get say 2 extra hours out of one of these batteries then that would be amazing.

Are the claims true about up to 50% more battery life?
