Go to NewEgg.com. Buy a Seagate 120 GB hard drive with 8 MB cache ($100) and a generic Firewire external case for $40.

I bought an IOGEAR 120gb drive, 1 for its fast seek times, the fastest I could find for prebuilt external drives, 2: 3 year warranty. 3. $30 rebate. 4. total price was $180

To me, its a bit more, but its got both usb2and firewire. A nice desinged case, and most importantly the 3 year warranty. Ive read of TOO many failed drives, and this is one area where you dont want to skimp on quality to save a few bucks.
