What software do you guys for database ER management?
There seem to be alot of nice options, but they are all for windows
I am just basically looking for something that will allow me to enter a "general" database schemas/models. I also want it to allow ER diagrams of the model.
Another feature that would be nice, but not a must have, would be exporting create database SQL to common formats (eg, SQL to create database in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, etc). Though this feature is not necessary, it would be nice. However, if the program only exported to a standard SQL format, that would be ok too because I could then tweak the exported SQL for a specific RDBMS
Anything like this for the Mac? I tried the demo of SQL4X Manager J, however the ER modeler left much to be desired and was dog slow (I might as well get a win program and run it in VPC as slow as SQL4X was)
