MACs and Nikons are COOL. I just discovered that OSx and Image Capture which will control my D-300, take a photo, download it and then erase the camera memory. This will be great for a tethered studio type shoot where you or a client want to see immediate results.

Now if I can just find a script or little program that will let me set the interval between shots and then download the shot and erase the camera memory, I can envision all kinds of fun capturing things like a building going up, a butterfly emerging from the cocoon, a flower blooming, etc. -- Has anyone seen a script or program with adjustable time intervals to do this?

Looks like Nikon's Camera Control Pro 2 software does Time Lapse photography. http://imaging.nikon.com/products/im...pro2/index.htm

I think the Canon software that comes with the camera does this, though i've never tried it.

You could plug in the camera, load Aperture, tether, and then set the D300 to interval shooting.
