I'm going nuts over my mbpro suddenly (since yesterday) deciding that he wants to connect to another mac here (a second mbpro) as soon as I login.
If the other mac is on and around, I get a "insert username/password for file server nameofotherMbpro"
If it's swiched off, or I'm away, after some seconds from the login my mbpro pops up a window saying "Can't connect to server".

How for the holy cow do I get rid of this?!?!?!?!
I have literally no idea how could I have turned it on...
Please, help, it really feels like being back to windows, it's really making me nuttier than granola...

Thanks!

Lorenzo

Check in System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items - is the other machine listed here? If it is highlight it and click the minus sign.

If it's not listed, what other Apps are in the login box? They might be trying to connect to data stored on the other Mac.
