I doubt I will get End Game. It seems we barely scratched Armored Kill and Aftermath before moving on to other games.

The game suffers from segmentation, big time. It's hard to find servers that have several different DLC, and then have the vanilla maps too (which are quite good). On top of that, they almost always are clumped together – 4 armored kill followed by 4 aftermath followed by 9 vanilla...

I enjoy playing armored kill and aftermath, but after a cycle (about an hour) I always have to jump of the server or start playing the same 4 maps again. Kind of a drag, considering how hard it is to find a good server, with regular tickets and isn't one-sided or infested with idiots.

I'm not done with BF3, but I doubt I'll buy any more dlc for it.

Black Ops 2 is nearing completion for me, my buddy will probably want it back pretty soon. I'm down for some BF3 one of these nights.

For PS3 Premium users only right? Even if I wanted to purchase it (which I don't), non premium xbox users have to wait until the end of the month. **** you EA.

When you need to release calendars so people can make sense of whats happening, you're doing it wrong. Somehow, for all of EAs evil, I'd still say the Call of Duty Elite model was worse – they released two maps then one map, then one or two, then released the first group on XBOX Live for the general public to download.

Played CTF last night. Oh my, the Halo nostalgia. The bikes are faaaaaast, and have sensitive handling. Only weird thing is when a player mounts them, their name/info drops to the base of the bike, meaning you shoot at your own peeps a lot.

Also, I've been absolutely atrocious since I've returned. Hiding in vehicles and jumping teams all the time. (I feel like I need to train in vanilla before I can go back to DLC). Had a kid message be last night that he was very disappointed that I went 6-6 as a 100.

This is such a great game. Hopped on after god knows how many months away and it was FUN! Strange server, I didn't have a rank and I didn't have any attachments for weapons, tanks or helis. Guess its their way or making everyone equal.

The new maps just seem like rehashes though. Presume that everyone's working on BF4.

Sound is even glitchier than I remember. In the browser, when I select a check box, I don't always get an X, even though the select count goes up.

If only Activision had servers. Makes SUCH a difference.

I'm surprised it went so smoothly for you. The new maps are pretty meh, though they shine in CTF. Not surprising since that's what they were made for.

I had that weird glitch after the update too. Haven't run into it since.

I'm curious if they'll go bigger next gen. Given the quality of Groun War they'll have to add servers for it to be playable.

First few games were really good. Then it went downhill. I was only doing the new maps for hours, then Metro came up. :-) 45 mins CQ and IIRC we lost by about 100 after leading most of the game. Still enjoyed it.

Oh crosbie, they added an Air Superiority mode (CQ in Jets). I think I'm 1 and 28 in two games.

Well you have to draw the line sometime. Online Pass, Premium, removing official servers and now game modes tied to DLC. When does it end?

I guess. It's not like it doesn't take manpower to add it in. You're arguing they're being dicks for adding more game modes via DLC, but I'd say Online Pass is far worse than that.

Also, EA.

(BTW, official servers have been back for a long time now)

matty, do you find you miss the crouch-slide from Far Cry 3? I find myself crouching early when running for cover thanks to it. It was a solid mechanic (Though I'd tone down the blurriness they inflicted).

I didn't play enough FC3 to really get hooked on the controls, TBH. Yes it was a 'solid mechanic' - very apt. Bet we'll see it elsewhere soon. I did however use the left buffer to try and bring up the 'weapon wheel' though.

Almost every time I jump onto a motorbike, GnR's "You could be Mine" starts running through my head, T2 style.

How do you drive? 1st person ? Since overdosing on Forza I can only drive the bikes 3rd person. If I need to shoot, it has to be 1st person, like tanks and other armed vehicles.

I'm pretty sure I saw Crosbie successfully pull the mouse-and-elephant routine on a tank as a sniper last night. For like 5 to 10 seconds, which is an eternity if you actually count it out loud.

Yup, I was trying to get my ass over there as fast as I could to do some SMAWing, but I was on foot and completely on the other side of D. Luckily I think you distracted him while another tank took pot shots.

Occulus Rift is cool, but for using stuff like Jeeps and Quads and Bikes in 1st person, they'd be almost required.

My BF3 experience has devolved into this 80% of the time: Steamroll the opposing team, holding all capture points at least once, likely spawn trapping them as well; On the losing team, never within striking distance, one the the best players on the team, if not the lobby.

Both suck, but the latter is especially maddening. I feel cheap changing teams, but if barely anyone else on my team can contribute like me, **** them.
