We've caved in and recorded a special new episode of One More Thing for the FBI but we assure you that this is not a slippery slope. We are convinced that no other Government agency will ever request this compliance, even though we have noticed a sudden increase in official-sounding emails. While we read through those, take a listen to MacNN writers Malcolm Owen and William Gallagher falling out over the Bug Chicks.

They're the stars of Microsoft's new Windows ads and doubtlessly they are fine people, surely we can open our eyes in a minute and their insect collection will be off our screens, but Malcolm is troubled by the business terms they've chosen to describe themselves with. William's fine with that, he just wonders why anyone at Microsoft thought that using the word 'bugs' so many times in an ad for Windows was a good idea.

Malcolm does definitely think his Thingy of the Week is a good idea and he's currently using it to aid in moving house. William is staying at home with his feet up, iPad Pro on his lap and a completely different Thingy of the Week occupying his evenings. If we could link to either of these things we would but as we can't, let's go for some mystery. You'll hear all you need in One More Thing alongside news of the annual Apple Future Components Fuzzy Photo Day and the strange directions Apple will be forced to take if Tim Cook is forced to wear orange.

"yet you can also use iCloud"

Incorrect. The new version rips out the 'Classic' version's iCloud and Dropbox sync support in favor of their new lock-in proprietary solution. Why would they do that? Presumably so the next version will require you to pay for sync.
