My son is in the Marine Corps and I've got a PowerBook 160 and an old 33.6 global village modem that I thought would be perfrct to send to him so that he could e-mail us. The PB is running system 7.1 and has 10 meg of ram and an 80 meg hard drive. I'm looking for suggestions on what software I should use to do what I want. Thanks....
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Get FreePPP 2.5v3 - this will allow him to make a connection. Then get him Eudora Light 3.1.3. This is a free version of an email program that should allow you to do what you want.

Thanks Gene....I'll get those and get it set up. I'm glad I finally found a use for my trusty old power book...I think it'll be perfect for this purpose.
