Hello All,
I recently acquired a wallstreet powerbook, i installed Jaguar on the powerbook and then proceeded to download all appropriate updates so it is currently running 10.2.8 after this I tried to run iChat and it immediately crashed (it had never been set up) checked the logs and it seemed to try and open address book, so i went and launched address book and it also crashed. Has anyone seen this happen before? I thought it might be a corrupted font so i stripped it down to just system fonts (i had installed the HP printer driver and office 2004 which adds a slew of fonts) and still the issue persists.
Thanks in advance

This is a software issue, not a hardware issue (i.e. this is not powerbook specific).

well it is likely an install issue so I was calling out to fellow walstreet owners as OS X installs are hit and miss on Wallstreets from what I have gathered. Which is why i posted here.
Thanks for the insight though.
