Some work and some don't, but I think those 72pin EDO SIMM one should work on either PC or Mac.

Can you recommend a good source of old 72pin SIMMS?

I have an old PC I pulled out of a dumpster and turned into a nice Linux box for our LAN, but it only has 24mb of RAM. Works fine - but I'm sure its stretching the limits.

in general, there are/were 2 kinds of 72 pin simms - parity and non-parity. most pc's were very picky about which you used where as most of the macs of that time would ignore the parity chip on the simm, meaning in most cases you could use either.

Also you must install a pair of SIMM RAM at the same time. I have a pair of 32MB 72pin SIMM RAM pulled from the PowerMac 6100/60.
