I shot some small .avi movies of my newborn with my Canon Powershot Pro1 point and shoot digital camera at 640x480. Each file is 30 seconds long and about 30MB. I now want to reduce these to 320x240 to send to family out of state. I can't figure out what to do. I have a Mac G5 dual 2GHz, 2GB RAM running Mac OS X 10.4.8 Do I need Quicktime Pro?
Thanks in Advance.

The videos from your camera are in MJPEG format. Any video conversion software that can read MJPEG can convert them to a more compressed format. I think ffmpegx will do it.
