Homeschooling is great.
We're not "judging" you. We are making opinions of you.

And what else are we supposed to go on other than what you have written online? If you aren't you when you write here, then you're being fake. Talk about immature.

I have made my opinion based upon home schooling decades ago. Probably before you were born. Home schooling is a necessary evil in some cases. In other cases it's just a case of the parents not letting go or being a bit egotistical.

You really need to relax a bit more and see yourself from a different perspective. Why do you think you are getting picked on? It's because you react in such a funny way. The same reason it's fun to light fireworks. You know it's going to blow up and make a lot of noise.

As someone whose story was exactly the same as Macgeek's, I have to agree. My parents meant well, and I don't hold it against them, but I don't think homeschooling children right from the start is generally a good idea. If they're having problems in school, maybe pull them and start homeschooling later, but just refusing to allow your kids to be exposed to society is a bit extreme.

You know, it all clicked into place when geek told us he was homeschooled and is now taking community college courses part time at the age of 16. Now I get it. The only thing I don't get is the girlfriend part.

That's better.

The only technical part about a technical college...is that it's technically a community college.
And technically the word "community" kinda cancels out the word "college."
So it's pretty much just a place where adults hang out.
And 16 year old kids.
