Hi All! I'm a proud new 12" PB owner who has just made the swap from PC (well at least until he can afford a state of the art gaming PC in a couple of years time! ) I love my new powerbook, but I was wondering what IRC client people recommend? I used mIRC on the PC so something similar would be best
Thanks!

Try XChat. It's pretty good and free.

I'm partial to ChatZilla and Colloquy myself.

X-chat is the closest i've ever come to a reasonable free client (actually has auto-accept for DCC chat requests). But then, I stopped looking after I found it.

You might want to check MacIrssi out yet. It seems to be a relatively thin GUI layer over the irssi engine (Colloquy also uses this engine, but adds layers of stuff that some may not want).

IrssiX is another thin GUI layer worth looking into. Irssi with tabs
