Was wondering, how do you get this thing off of the menubar:
It's an HP 950C if that matters at all...

Look for a file in your Extensions folder called Printer Menu or something similar to that (I can't remember, but I killed mine off months ago)
You can either move it to Extensions (Disabled) with Conflict Catcher, since you use that, or just toss it, which is what I did.

My menu bar has a (unknown to me) bold yellow Y with a red background. What's it for. Selecting it doesn't do anything.

eh, thanx, it was called "Desktop Printer Menu" and now is disabled. That bold yellow y sounds like yahoo messenger? Delete those files and see if it works, or show a picture of it so we can see it better.

Sorry! I blew this one. It's an A, not a Y.
Thanks for your response, Exa.
Please tell me how I can insert graphics into these posts. I've seen others use them too. I don't need to know how to do screen shots, just how to insert them in these forums. This is a great way to ask for/give help.
Thanks again, bobsie
