Can anyone recommend a good program for removing the annoying hiss from sound files extracted from audio cassettes? I've tried using the filters with CD Spin Doctor, included with Toast Deluxe, but they suck. I'm a relative novice when it comes to audio cleanup so anything that's easy to use is a bonus. Thanks.

Try Felt Tip Sound Studio from felttip.com or something like that. It's a recording program with somepretty good filters.
