Has anybody been able to get rrt2 gold ed. to
work on the ibook? I cannot get it to work no matter what I do.It will not recognize it's video capabilities even when I type in force800 also the download patch only works
with the original rrt2 program.

RT2 Gold works fine on my Powerbook sys. 9.0.4.

What is force800? Where do you type it, and what does it do?

I got RRT2 Gold ed. to work on my ibook by calling the publisher. They sent me a patch that is not currently on the internet.
Thanks

I ended up returning the game...
I spent about 4 hours on and off the phone with their tech support, downloading the patch and trying the force 800 command, neither worked. I'm told that RR Tycoon II works alright, but I'm not willing to give this game another try...very disappointing.

What version of RT2 have we been talking about? Mine is version 1.5 and works flawlessly on both 8.6 blue G3 and 9.0.4 Powerbook. I still wonder what force 800 means. The 100 page hard copy manual that came with my CD says nary a thing about force800. Is there more than one version of RT2?
