Hi, I'm trying to get file sharing working to transfer documents/files and programs form an iMac (non firewire) onto my new Cube and I've got some probs , I don't know which computer needs to be the "Host", do both machines need to be actively sharing files or just one (and if one, which!) also, what happens when file sharing is enabled?
Does a folder appera on the target computer?
Can I select the whole HD to be shared?
Finally I am having a problem with phantom PDF files (with the names of Programes and Documents on the shared computer) appearing in the File sharing preferences folder, is this normal?
I've just bought my Cube new, although it was a display model, it has not been used much (excellent condition, GREAT price!!) )and has a standard OS 9.1 install, anyone got any ideas?
P.S I get File Sharing error messages now and then, a constant "no users connected" but no extension error messages.
