I'm surprised the "Mount St. Helens rock dating" comment was in there. I thought it was pretty well established by now that Steve Austin's "test" was not legit on a number of levels.

Well, it's legit, just not in the way that it was presented. It illustrates that Potassium Argon (KAr) testing is inappropriate for certain samples under certain conditions, but we already knew that and have other tests that are appropriate for different samples and different conditions.
