Hello,
I'm a big Mac convert and I can do 99% of what I need w/o Windows.
However, I have a lot of movies that are on my windows machine which are back-ups and I want to read them or convert them on a Mac so I do not have to painstakenly redo them. They are images (.VOB) files.

Any ideas?

Did you try opening them with DVD player on the Mac?

You could also try converting them with software like handbrake. Then you'll be able to use them on quicktime, iTunes, iPod, etc.

Ironically, I just read about VLC in Macaddict. I'll try it.
I have tried converting it with Handbrake, but it doesn't read the file.

I'll keep slugging away at it. Thanks for the input

So, I downloaded the app. installed it and now when I try to open it it ever so briefly appears in the doc then disappears. It recognizes the files, but it will not stay open.

Any ideas?
