Does anybody think MWSF 2007 will bring us a new 12" MBP?

I'm sure we'll see something in the 10-13" range, eventually.

there are numerous posts on this already; do a search, some 'lively' discussions...
personally, i am waiting for it.
keeping my (new!) 12" revD powerbook until.
(hopefully, i won't be waiting forever).
would be nice to see in january, but i'm skeptical.
the rumor sites have suggested specs that seem highly unlikely.
anyway, as with all things apple (and all apple rumors), we'll find out soon enough.
now back to my G4...

I've been clinging on to my 867 Mhz 12" PB G4 since it was first introduced ages ago.....
I saw the MacBook and liked it but I really missed the slightly smaller 12" form factor.
I remembered always looking at the other Intel laptops and liking them except for the fact that they didn't have the ability to run MacOS X....
We can only hope that the 12" will come. I'm skeptical about MacWorld 2007 but I hope I'm wrong....

As nice as the 12" PB was, I hope Apple releases a 13" MBP similar to the size of the MacBook. If possible they could make it thinner, but because of the smaller dimensions they probably need it big enough to dissipate the heat.

Ditto, I want a 13.3" MBP in black. They don't actually have to paint it. Anodization can be done in a way to make the color black. If that is introduced next Tuesday I'm going straight to the Apple store in SF and walkin' home with one. So glad I'm going to Macworld!

I'd be surprised to see one. There is not too many differences between a Macbook and a MacBook Pro. I think a 12"MBP would kill the MacBook sales. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong in the future so the proof will be in MWSF but I think it will be a poor business decision to relase a MBP in a 12" form factor.

has anyone found any web articles that talk about some of the Taiwanese factories actually manufacturing the 12" form factors? Usually a lot of rumors are validated when we hear that so-and-so company received an order from Apple to make this or that....
Otherwise it's still an unvalidated rumor...

I also hope they introduce one. I just bought the last rev. 12"pb from the refurb site, so by the time the 12" mbp's hit the refurb site, I'll have enough saved to get one!
God PLEASE GIVE ME A 12" MBP IN JANUARY!

Not if it starts $500 higher.

True. The price will be a huge difference. I'd like to see them drop the price on the Macbooks a little to make the line between the consumer mb's and the mbp's thicker.

I'm hoping for a 10-12" MBP backlit keyboard, aluminum housing with a ultra low voltage c2d and the new 32gb flash HD. How sweet would that be for battery life and speed?

I actually just purchased my second 12" pb 867mhz, I just got a new job and will use the second computer for work related stuff. I currently use my 12" 1.5ghz hooked up to a 20" ACD. That should do me until a 12" mbp comes out, then drops in price, lol.
