I wasn't complaining. But its 7 BUSINESS days. Which would mean the 28th.
Ships on or before 8/02/05:
  • iBook G4 12" 1.2GHz | 768MB RAM | 60GB Ultra ATA | Airport Extreme | Mac OS X 10.4

I don't know if it is relevant, but the UK Apple Store is currently down.

Uh, yeah you were. See this:

That's complaining.

But regardless, it's probably due to the impending update. Just relax and wait for a better iBook than you expected to be delivered to you.

It's now 3-5 business days at both the Canada and US Apple Stores, for both stock and CTO machines.

Tuesday, July 26th is the iBook release I tells ya. That would make exactly 40 weeks since the last update.

I hope Apple changed the casing and design. The iBook has always looked cool but it's been time for an asthetic change. A speed bump is always welcome but it's nothing to be terribly excited about.

I think if they go with the mini styling we'll see a return to ports on the rear.

Life is inherently unfair. The sooner you accept this, the better you'll be able to cope with all the random bad stuff that may happen to you.

I've been waiting for a long time... and hope to see something interesting tomorrow. I just didn't want to buy 2 months ago with a pending update. I probably should have just purchased back then... oh well. Widescreen could be interesting if they offer it.

Fake.

First of all, no way Apple would hide the "new" product behind an old one. They would at least be side-by-side. Secondly, "See everything in widescreen." is false because the 12" doesn't have a widescreen. Thirdly, the headline sux. Fourthly, because I said so.

That would make it ~40 weeks until the first Intel ibook. Apple seems to like to equalize the gaps.

Of course it's a fake, but it still surprises me that it hadn't yet appeared in this thread.

The UK store is the only one that is down. I suppose we will find out very soon whether or not it will happen today.

Finnish store is down also. I've learned that when new products are announced, the store goes down excatly at 14:00 Finnish time(or 02 PM, GMT +2) and now it's 14:05 and it just went down

It only just went down on refresh... all Australasian stores are now down, methinks.

As soon as US goes down, we know that its coming sometime really soon.

Bummer that its 9.30 pm here now though.

I just got shuffled to this screen when attempting to check the status of a saved order:
