Using B&W G3 350 mhz with original 6 GB and two additional Seagate 80 GB drives (one partitioned, one not). Running 10.2.8 on one drive, 9.2.2 and 10.1.5 on partitioned drive, and 9.2 on original 6GB drive. Video and photo use mostly.
HELP!
Problem: I can't boot onto one of the partitions of one of my drives.
I tried re-installing 10.1.5 (didn't install, doesn't advance past "preparing to install."
Tried upgrading to 10.2.1, same as above
Still won't boot just displays smiling Mac and spinning beach ball. I ran disk utility with the following message:

I'm about to erase the disk, but I don't think I can only erase that 1 partitition. Is that right? Do I have to erase the whole disk? I think I used Drive Set-up to format & partition that disk initially.
Any other suggestions before I do this on Saturday? BTW I can still read all the files on the partitition that won't boot. I have copied most of the files onto another disk. i'm just concerned about having to re-copy all my iPod music back and then re-syncing with iTunes and then having to replace all the music back in proper folders. Same with IPhoto and its cryptic filing system.
UGH!
