Thats actually a nice monitor...I dunno if Samsung still makes the screens for Apple Displays but if they do this has a Hdmi connection too. The 32" is only $1,899...not too bad. Just make sure your graphics card can drive the monitor. Some PowerBooks might not have a good enough Graphics card.

What about the HP model, they have a 23" that is sub 1k or something.

I'm really happy with the Dell 2405FPW I got - If you catch it during one of the markdowns to $779 (keep an eye on dealmac.com, techbargains.com, etc. for this), it's a real steal... it's 1920x1200, 24", and is better (in terms of contrast ratio, color accuracy, response time, and brightness) and cheaper than anything comparable on the market. The only reason I can think of not to get one is if you absolutely need something larger than 24".

I don't think I could handle that much screen in front of me. How far away do you sit?
Reviews seem to be everywhere on the Dell.

My work purchased a 20" Cinema Display... I thought it would be too much screen for me, but I've found... there is no such thing as too much screen. It took me about 3 days to adapt to filling the screen with windows... It is exactly like my dual 1024 x 768 monitors at home, but much nicer.
I sit the same distance as a regular screen.

The TV you are looking at has 1280x720 resolution. Price: around 700-1000 USD.
