does anyone have a picture of one? or can anyone take a picture of your own and post it? i just want to know how the internal modem hooks to the motherboard. thanks

It doesnt physically hook into the Mobo. The modem "stick" attached to the back (I think of it as the tansom) of the case which folds out. A ribbon cable (not like IDE Ribbon Cables) attached to the modem then to the motherboard.

I have taken a picture but do not know how to post images!

use you idisk and put it in your pictures folder.

then do this:
[IMG ]http://homepage.mac.com/yournamehere/.Pictures/filename.extention[/IMG]

after the first IMG, there is no space. I had to put one in or it woud have been posted as a link.

I can't take a picture of my apple modem but I do have the instruction diagrams that I could fax to you. I have a stand alone fax but don't have a scanner. Let me know if you have fax software or a fax and I'll send it along. I noticed someone sent a picture, with both you shouldn't have much trouble installing. Email me if you need to.

well, "usuario" means "user name of your iTools account (see iDisk name)", place your user name here.

thank you for the replies, it connects as i assumed it would. it just seemed illogical to attach the way it does, but hey, whatever works
