Yays.
Glad the scrolls are liked by most, I think those who arent too sure about them will like them when they use them. I still plan to make some rounded version in this style to test.
I've given it more thought, and I do like them a lot now... I actually just realized that there are many more square elements than circular elements in this theme!

Progress report-
The radios and check boxes are next on the list.
Question-
Should the push buttons and popup buttons follow the same style? If so which style or a hybrid of the two?

IMHO the push buttons and popups should both be rectangular, like those sweet-lookin' scrollbars.
Swiz, how do you feel about adding some transparency to the menu?
Also unsure about the white outline look to the Apple Menu.
(And please forgive if this has come up already... Didn't feel like reviewing this longish thread, even though I've been following it since the beginning).
Bottom line is, you gotta do what you think is best. It's your theme and it's shaping up to be one of the best ever. Max's Brushed update, now this. Wow!

I would like to have the push button and pop up button the same way in terms of shading. I propose a compromise between the current different shades.
Make them as dark as the scroll bar is.
I'm unsure about the shape. The rounded shape does well for the push button and the more rectangular style is good for the pop up button, but I admit to have them side by side makes them look unmatched. I think if they were shaded with the same grey it would be better.
BTW The scroll arrow buttons need a bit more contrast to match the other widgets IMHO. I think a "sunken" apple in the menu would match the rest of your theme better.
P.S.
I got a question besides your theme:I have always problems to find a way to make the shading of my widgets fit the mask. For instance I get always black or white pixels where a subtle shade should be. It always looks like artifacts. When I try to do those subtle shades in PS it works, but when I paste them into the resource I have to manually fix the "broken" pixels. Obviously you have no suchlike errors when designing your themes. I wonder what way you're doing this conveniently?

I think the push button should be squared off, makes it look more consistent. I can't believe I'm getting this exited about a theme

Hm, now you have altered the push button to a more rectangular shape I must say the round window widgets look a bit as if they were out of tune.I think it would help to make the toolbar button more rounded.
Maybe more like this:

I was thinking that the pop-ups were too rectangular and didn't match the buttons. The rectangular buttons look nice.
I'd also vote for transparent menus.

I think the rectangular buttons look cool. It's different from all the other round or oval ones in the other themes. I like it because it seems to have more of a consistency to it, especially at the bottom where the corners are square. Fantastic job. Can't wait to use it! Also, I like the new look of the progress bars.

Okay, here's what I meant by the menu stuff playing off the green progress bars.
THis shot shows the Blue selection in general system prefs on top with the graphite set below, (I know theStudio Pro look is more graphite than blue but Im assuming most people dont switch this setting and whatnot) the second two images are the same but they have menu transparency as has been requested. So now you folks tell me which way to go, menu transparency or nay.

No, you're right in what he said. However, the reason he's doing it is because he knows that most people just use "Blue", and he wants the graphite version to be the default version... otherwise, the first time people use it, they would see a green version, and might not know why!
I vote for transparency, but a little more opaque than what's in the screenshots.
I'm really looking forward to this.

I vote for transparency too, and like Sage, a little more opaque than what's in the screenshots.
This is looking very sweet. Since 10.2 I haven't used any themes, but I'll be making an exception with this one.

Green may be a tad bright for me. Take it down a bit and you have a winner all around.

I was wondering if the green progress bars could be changed to match the theme colors, instead of making the menu highlight to match the progress bars.

Im pretty much doing this-
When "Blue" is selected in General Prefs the progress bars, menu stuff and a few other various things will be graphite accented and when "Graphite" is selected green will be used instead. I know it sounds odd.
Actually
I will include the General Prefs component in the theme so it will offer the selection of either "Graphite" or "Green" to avoid this confusion. Dont worry, the included Aqua Restore will include the original Aqua setting to fix this back to normal.
So I will be taking some of the transparency down a bit but including it. And the process continues. Thanks for all your suggestions.
