I bougth it. I use it for my writing / presentations. I bougth the ms office package because i thougt that i would share documetns with pc users. I havent yet thoug, but i'll prbably will.
I like it, but i've ad problems with it.
i've had these kind of issues with it.

And now, exel won't run either...
If i wouldn't need to send doc's (you can send pdf's instead) and ppt's to people i'd buy AppleWorks if i were you. I reckon that would be more stable on a mac, and it is nicely integrated with iLife
But if there were no problems with the office package i think that i would stick with that.
The student office package is worth the $$$ (when it works)
p.s. i think thes kind of threads are to be posted in the Applications forum.

How much?! $55? Over here in the UK its £109, thats about $190!! What a rip off country I live in...
Anyway, I think its worth it, not for word or powerpoint, as I find pages and keynote to be on a totally different level, they are fantastic, but for excel, as it is the best spreadsheet program I have used on mac. I have office and only use excel because keynote + pages are so much better
