First off, the stats:
Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3, Mac mini at 1.42GHz, 512MB RAM
Mail 2.0.5
Dot Mac since the days of iTools
Soooo. I'm loving the new Tiger Mail's interface, responsiveness, those fab smart mailboxes and my old static mailboxes.
I only use Mail with my one .Mac account. No locally stored mail, etc ... using the default options.
.Mac syncing is turned on via the Prefs pane.
So here's the deal. When I access my .Mac Mail via webmail, and go to "show folders", I see an old subfolder in my Sent Items folder. This subfolder has a bunch of mail in it that ... well ... doesn't belong there. And it isn't part of my Mail setup, either.
Much of the mail in that subfolder is indeed sent mail to a particular person and I wouldn't want to have it deleted.
Is there any way to remove this folder from the list in .Mac without trashing those e-mail messages? And I take it .Mac webmail can't display the contents of smart mailboxes (since smart mailboxes are dynamically generated, etc)?
Thanks for your thoughts and help.
