Luck has it I'm in Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand a short while, never been before and need your help.

- Are there any well priced PDA's in Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand? Or is it a tight retail market with no discounting?

- www.handspring.com and www.palm.com are the platform I am looking at

- Where's those bargins, where to shop and where to not? Who do you suggest? Where on the www?

Many thanks for any suggestions or directions.

In Singapore, shop at Sim Lim Square. For all your computing needs

If you intend just to browse and not buy, then go Funan Centre (nearest MRT: CIty Hall)

You can bargain the prices at Sim Lim Square. Prices at SLS are generally cheaper but you have to know your stuff. SLS is a PC-type place tho. So ask carefully regarding mac compatibility tho there are shops who are familiar with mac stuff. There's a mac vendor on 2nd floor (walk diagonally from the escalator landing on the 2nd floor) The vendors usu display their prices for popular items on a board outside the shop.

Else you can post your other Palm-related queries at: www.spug.org
[Singapore Palm Users Group] (edit: For some reason... the link doesnt work and I dont know why.. sorry..)

Have fun. You're here the wrong time actually... Damn hot and humid now..

About where NOT to shop: I don't think the pple who are serious buyers buy from any other place other than Funan or SLS.
