F10 Launch vs. Butler vs. Quicksilver

Can someone tell me the advantage of F10 launch over Butler or Quicksilver. I use both Butler and Quicksilver, but just saw something on F10 Launch. Is there any point to paying $30 for it (i.e. does it do anything better than the other 2?)

It's all a matter of choice. I prefer F10 over the other two because I can customize the fields, plus I don't need to remember extra shortcut commands. I also like being able to access files and folders as well as applications.
But you're better off giving it s try and seeing if works for you.

This topic should really be in the software forum but...
F10 is for your more visual 'can't be doggered' to learn
a few key commands and like their icons big and in their face.
Quicksilver and butler are both excellent for your
'Power User' type would can remember a few key combos.
Quicksilver is also very GUI friendly and has many 'styles'
of interface. But 'the Butler' is IMHO the easier to 'load and use'
but Quicksilver has more support and a very active user base
and for the user with a superior geeked-up brain.

Remembering key commands ala QS and Butler have nothing to do with "Power User" types. I'd be more than happy to compare my work/personal usage on a Mac (averaging about 8-10 hours per day) with others.
While I'm sure you thought your comments were helpful, they were quite disparaging. Care to compare your "superior, geeked-up brain" with mine?

no way i could live w/o qs.... and why would i want too? i used to use f10 and loved it then gave qs a try (a long hard try) and can't deal with a mac w/o it now. it does have a steep learning curve (to really learn it you have to spend time on the qs forums) but it's way worth it.... but to each his own really.
