Infantry
Now, this isn't a Mac game, but with a lot of you being able to use VMs, it's worth looking into. This was one of my favorite games. Before Sony bought it, it was freeware and there were probably a few thousand people playing simultaneously. There are different kinds of zones you can go in.
It's a top down, isometric shoot 'em up. It's kinda hard to explain, you'll wanna check it out. It'll be 100% free on the 26th, but if you've ever had a Station Pass account (even for only a month), you might be able to get on already. Otherwise, you'll have to wait. However, you can still join a zone and spec or play as a ~Guest.
Anyway, Sony bought the game then made it Pay to Play. The population plummeted and the game almost died off. Now they're making it free again as a gateway game for Sony Station Pass members (which is what they should've done in the first place.)
This is a great game for MacBook and Mac mini users because it doesn't require a fast computer or a fancy video card, but that doesn't take away from the fun.

Ditto, been playing it for over 8 years. Can't believe how long the game's been around (or how old I am. ) I'm really hoping they fix Eol, that's my favorite zone. The game never seems to get old.

Yep. I remember the arguments about which was better, Subspace or Infantry.

Meh. I got tired of CTFX because of the stupid shotgun.
TP is too repetitive. The games are too short.
HP was the perfect balance. It had a few teams so the games lasted longer, but not really long like CTFX can. It also didn't have the problem with the shotgun.
I play Eol, though. I'm hoping they bring back attributes for Eol.
