I saw a very nice looking convertible car in Seattle on Friday. It was blue, with really nice styling. but I could not make out who made it. The logo was basically a pair of wings, not as broad as Bentley's logo, and not as thin as Chrysler's logo. And the wings are straight out, not angled like Aston Martin's wings. There wasn't a conspicuous name or other logo on the car at all, just the wings on the nose. Some Google Image Search time has not enlightened me in this. Anyone have a clue?

Aston Martin was the first to come to mind, but I'm sure you'd recognize them. Healey?

It's close to that Aston Martin logo, but it was wider, not as tall, and all silver, with no text that I could catch (or even realize it was there) from about 10 feet away.

Was it older looking or newer? If it was older I'd say Austin Healey.

Austin Healey almost certainly. The hottest cars ever made... apart from the Sprite.

Definitely quite new. The A-H logo is still the wrong proportions. Ther was nothing in the center of the one I saw like a circle or block with writing... I really wish I'd had my camera handy...
By the way, those Austin Healeys are indeed REALLY cool looking cars...

I like the Alpha Romeo logo. Too bad their cars are high maintenance.

Ooooo, now I want a Morgan! But it wasn't that.
The nose is a lot like a Corvette's, but it's a much "bigger" car. The interior has a lot of very nice wood trim, and nicely done leather seats. There are NO logos or words on the sides at all, and only the wings logo on the nose (and maybe the tail). This was a fairly new car, and I got the impression it was from some sort of custom or "exotic" brand. I wish I knew more.

Try drawing the logo and show us your drawing—someone might recognise it from a concrete drawing. Logos are notoriously hard to describe accurately in words.
Plus, depending on how skilled you are at drawing, we might get a cheap laugh off it as well.

Drawing skills = poor, concrete memory of logo = vague. I got a really good impression of the logo, but I don't think I could draw something that would work to help identify this car. I can't say with a certainty that the wings went out exactly at 180º, for example. I can say with confidence that they were silver and didn't have an obvious object in the center.
I realize that I'm not very good at providing clues on this...

Ok, more searching and I found something that's a possible match: the Lightning GT.
Check out the logo-and where it's placed. I don't know that this is the model I saw, but the logo sure does look similar. There's a "lightning bolt" in the center, but nothing that looks like words.

Hmm.. it's a UK based electric car. Never heard of, and that logo looks like it was done on a 7th grader's compaq.
