"Apple Computer Inc. is looking for another team in the Italian Football League to promote the spirit Apple is aknowleged for.
Up to know only Internazionale Milano, one of Italy's most historical teams, was endorsing the Cupertino brand, but only on the panels that can be see during official interviews.
Apple is looking for a team that may reflect in soccer what Apple means to his customers, loyalty, dedication, will to succeed and thinking differently.
The only team that seems to have these qualities is Genoa C. F. C. , a team that is now taking part to the 2nd league championship.
What makes Genoa C. F. C. interesting to the heads in Cupertino is the dedication of its supporters, known to be the most extravagant and spectacular in the "Pi Bel Campionato del Mondo", and the head coach, Mr. Franco Scoglio, the Steve Jobs of soccer, famous for his outrageus statements and unique game tactics.
Genoa C.F.C. has been goping through hard times for the last 6 years and is the perfect underdog to jump on Apple's bandwagon to earn more space in the hardware/retail field.
After more than 12 months of negotiations due to ownership troubles in the team, Genoa C. F. C. was aquired by a joint group of Arabian bankers and things seem to be ready for Apple official entry in the soccer field! ".
