I've had my iPod Shuffle, case and dock on order from the UK Apple Store since late February and the order status page claims I won't receive the goodies until the middle of April. Based on Apple's expected ship times on the store, I'm guessing this is because of the two accessories (2-4 weeks for the sports case, 3-5 weeks for the dock). So, how come I've just been to Dixon's [UK electrical retailer] and picked up a dock in 3-5 minutes? Are Apple sending all their accessories out to retailers and leaving none for themselves?
I would have had a Shuffle from there too, except they'd sold the last one "about half an hour" before I got there. Typical.
