Are unmodified picture sizes no longer up to 500 pixels wide? Were they ever 500 wide?

Antipodes map is cool. If you cut out the north/south factor however, Hong Kong is almost exactly the opposite side of the world from NYC. Used to go there for work a lot.

Also been to Japan, Italy, Turkey, France, Spain, Hawaii, St. Johns (Carribean) and through the airport in Germany and England.
