Anyone get it? I can't stand playing with either the D-Pad or the stylus, but it's pretty good so far.

i grabbed it last night, and played long enough to finish the nook tasks before hitting the rack.

its kind of weird. i like the d pad over the stylus for running around, but you really need the stylus to go through the menus with any efficiency. hmph.

Yeah, I keep running into trees and sh*t. I can't stand it. In the GC version you'd see the area before you started running, here you just constantly run into stuff.

On the positive side, I made 11,000 out of the 16,000 bells I need to pay off my first mortgage. Other people on IGN are saying they're making a lot of easy money also. I have apples in my town so if you need them, post your friends code.

cool. i havent even figured out the friend code thing yet, but i have pears. i grabbed up a bunch of shells from the beach and sold those to make 1500 bells or so, and that was just while running errands for nook.

i kind of like the "3D rolling perspective" thing just the same. but like i said, i havent played a heck of a lot yet.

Haha that was me. I picked up the game yesterday and went on IGN boards to get some friend codes. I'm liking the game so far, I enjoyed the GCN version.

I'll get around to getting this eventually. I've always wanted to try the GC version.

I played a ton of Animal Crossing on the GCN that I had for a few months. I really miss the game. I wish their was a version for Mac, but (duh) that's not going to happen. All of my friends ridiculed me for playing it until they tried it themselves.

I loved the original. I really want to play the new one, but I can't justify getting a DS right now.

I will not get a DS. I will not get a PSP (or PCP, as my parents call it). I will not get an XBox 360. I will not get a Revolution.

Just sitting back, waiting for the PS3. You guys knock yourselves out.
