Anyone else get that annoying telephone sound from that banner ad at the top of this forum? What a good way to piss off your customers - force repetitive annoying sound at them every time they navigate to a new page on this forum.



Now I have to leave my computer muted when I browse MacNN.

what is this sound that you speak of? i havent gotten it on any of the macnn pages here. perhaps a linkage to a page that you have it on would suffice

IIRC, we do not allow the ad providers to give us audio ads. If they do so, please provide some kind of identifying info (e.g. the URL the ad links to) so we can remove it and complain to the ad provider.

I haven't seen the one in question (and likely won't, since I have Flash blocked), so I can't do that myself.
