i know this is probably a super dumb question, but...

i use safari to browse the web
i havent sorted my bookmarks out for ages and really need to do so
ive been finding the internal way to do it in safari a bit long handed

so i started looking for the location of my favourites on my hard drive, and couldnt find them!

if anyone could point me in the right direction id be greatful!

and i'm pissed off that safari bookmarks are exportable to every other browser except safari ...

why is this so?

i need to clean install. ie: save then re-import my bookmarks.

and i need to donate all my bookmarks to other safari friends ...

but will safari let me? no.

i have to use BackUpUserPrefs ... and if my friends don't have safari/BUUPs then they can't have my bookmarks

bookmarks rule my surfing life: they're my way into the web. i have an extensive library that should be easy to share ...

You have a .Mac account? Have you used "Safari Enhancer"?

Camino's new bookmark manager (available in the nigthlies since a month now) does now how to import safari.plists. it also known how to export it to HTML.
