Well, my name is Giancarlo and I'm a graphic designer

That's why I'm making a Mac OS X theme based on my site design
and a little of aqua flavour The theme comes in two variants
The one in the teaser is the Regular one and u'll see the other soon

Here's the teaser image:

I also have planned to make two icon sets for each theme.
Well. For more info go to my site

That's cool! It looks very clean, kind of bubbly and cartoony. A lot of people complain about themes very similar to Aqua being the most prevalent, but this one really looks nice. I look forward to seeing the finished one, and the extra variant.

I've seen your site before and was surprised that there was no Mac stuff. This theme looks excellent and I hope it works out. You should get someone to convert your icons to OS X too!

Great teaser!

Who will make the theme ? Since you are a Windows user I assume that you can only load PearPC and do it there ? And do it hella slow !?

It would be awesome to see the clock and mediaplayer that you have on your site made available for Konfabulator !

Is that a default japanese lettering? the characters feel like omega
btw meant to ask but can since other omega forums are locked but below the omega name bbx is that number 70?

This theme looks no bad reminds me of some windows design cant put my finger on it as it has that soft look to the controls
When first saw that preview reminded me of MacThemes mockup competition winners preview quite cool the SS except the theme feels like any other aqua style of some sort.

HR, i know you're planning at least one other variant of this fantastic-looking theme, i just hope we'll see traffic light titlebar widgets in the same style as the widgets in the all-blue version. looking forward to your work, as always. :-]

Very nice looking, I like the inclusion of that color, there have been too many white themes lately.

And just because I have to do something about this:

"Your source for free photoshop tutorials."
Since theres only like two ps tutorials in there, I wouldnt really call it a source of anything. Also, how was it smart a$$? It may have been arrogant but definitely not smart a$$, maybe you should check a dictionary man. Komisar, your comments arent very appreciated...

I'm sorry its not up to your par, holligen. I guess what i said was out of context. You are right i was wrong and i'll admit it, i guess i got carried away holligen. Thank you for putting me my place.... But as far as the switchboard goes lets save that for another day. And its not two ps tutorials its three as of monday. And also why bring that into this conversation that was just as out of place as my previous statement.

looks like you should be the one checking the dictionary:

[n] One, such as a person or document, that supplies information.

just because they only have 2 tutorials doesn't mean they're not a source.

ps: bbx was being a smartass.

as can be seen here on dictionary.com (for someone who tells people to check the dictionary you don't seem to do it a lot) smart ass is a synonym to "smart aleck" which can mean: "n : an upstart who makes conceited, sardonic, insolent comments"

and if you don't know what conceited, sardonic, or insolent means, i'll gladly give you the definitions.

i think you spotlight looks fine. it would look better if the window didn't have the shadow behind it, but other than that, its a fine spotlight.

uhmm haven't thought about that... let me finish the design first...
there is a lot to do. And making color variations would depend on who would port this theme too. So, anyway. Why don't u give me some color ideas

[edit] Oh, maybe Graphite, Black and Olive [/edit]

I was thinking something neutral might look sharp.. maybe some kinda cream/sepia color or shiny black, I dunno..

oooh this just came to mind; what about something glossy & iridescent, like fly's eyes...? good luck

What was wrong with my question Hybrid Rainbow ? I asked the same as ender2002 did and then some. This is just to stop me from asking anymore. If you don't respond to this then I get the hint

I know that they were not direct questions but I think you can figure it out.

Can you make the PUSH buttons and scroll bars the same color and style as the tabs? The Aqua buttons look out of place in that screenshot... does anyone else agree with me?

looking great..would love to see a aluminium/graphite variation on that baby, anyways..i wouldn't even compare this to omega, 'cause: we've only seen omega icons/itunes remote, omega is a DARK theme people, and on my lcd this theme really doesn't look dark.

keep it up

My hunch is to agree as well, although I also trust the designer's take on it. Perhaps a mock up of both versions side-by-side would help...

Either way, I am looking forward to the theme's eventual release!
