I hate it when people use dumb formats... a zipped pdf? honestly, what were you thinking?

So for everyone's convenience I have copied/pasted it all here for your viewing pleasure.
(all images are thumbnail-ed links to keep the page from being excessively wide, another pet peeve of mine.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creating a Windows Taskbar with Dragthing

I don’t like the os x dock, so I made a windows like taskbar with dragthing. Im only going to show you how I did it, you can add extra things and use your own colours and sizes etc. Here is what mine looks like:

There are 4 docks. There is a normal dock behind all the other docks which just feels In the blank space, a window dock (shows open windows) a process dock (all open programs), and a disk dock (my disks and trash).

First make a window dock, a process dock, and a disk dock from the docks menu in the drag thing preferences.

NOTE – For each dock you create, you will need to rotate it.

For the window dock, give it these settings –

Give these settings to the process dock –

And these for the disk dock -

Once all those are in place, it should look something like this -
ImageShack - Hosting :: picture115vw.png

So now make an untitled dock, size it, and give it these settings (make sure you tick “when dragging into dock” under the float dock heading).

There we go, your finished dock should look something like this (but of cause with your own colours)
ImageShack - Hosting :: picture153hb.png

------------------------------------------------------------------------

For some reason ImageShack wont make a thumbnail for those two "it should look like this" images... too long maybe

Tried to download this but everytime I ckicked on download it linked to another page where it requested that I click on "download file now." After doing that it went back to the original download page. Anyone know what's up ??? I use DragThing and am intrigued by this. How does one download it ??? Thanks. Peace out . . .
