This is perhaps a silly question but I just can't figure out where in Mail.app (v 1.3 for Panther) one can set the reply-to field. (I am sending email from account X but want any replies addressed to address Y)

thanks for any tips --

I dont know about permanntly setting the reply to address, but you can "unhide" the "reply-to" field in your composed messages by going to the View menu in mail, and choosing "Reply-To Address Field" from the menu.

here's a link to a screenshot (too large to put in my post, and too lazy to resize ): Screen Shot

iBook G4 | 1.2ghz | 768mb ram | combodrive | airport extreme
iPhone 3GS | 32 GB | Jailbreak, or no Jailbreak

Or you can set it permanently:

defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '{"Reply-To" = "[email protected]"; }'

and to delete this:

defaults delete com.apple.mail UserHeaders
