But I miss As the Apple Turns. Don't you? Anyone figure out any of their cryptic clues to why they've been off the air? Are they making more babies? Do y'all even care? Talk amongst yourselves...

i was going to post the very same thing just the other day!

I miss my apple flavored drama too!

I visited that site on a daily basis for years.... It is truly missed.

My theory is that now that apple is less of an underdog these days, and everything now revolves around ipods and itunes, apple just doesnt have what it takes to make a great soap opera anymore....

A couple of months off for Jack causes people to talk as if AtAT has been cancelled. I doubt it - the show's been on hiatus before many times. I must admit that for some bizarre reason I no longer am a regular viewer of the site - I used to get over there every week day. I guess that's okay, though - I can amuse myself with recent reruns until the new season. It was wild reading the post-earnings broadcast. It's difficult to believe such a short time ago AAPL was below $50. Amazing. I knew the viPod would be a great growth catalyst but was too conservative to jump back in.

Their updates are few and far between nowadays. I'm sure the joys and trials of raising a child are taking away time from what used to be fun for them.

Agreed, I miss as the Apple turns. Very amusing and well written. A lot of love went into the episodes I reckon. I hope they put a few episodes on the air every now and then. Better than nothing and always fun to read.

cheers

I miss AtAT too. They used to have brief hiatuses, but never as long as this.

Yeah, Jack's been on vacation for similar periods of time.

Yeah but these vacations seem to have been becoming more numerous and closer together. I never knew how he managed to write so much every day on top of normal family life and a job... maybe the pressure finally got to him.

Hopefully he'll get back to it one of these days... I wonder if he's an 'NN forums reader? Hi Jack!!
